Ellen Duff

Ellen Duff is of counsel to the firm of Rachlis Duff & Peel, LLC. Ellen has more than thirty-five years of experience representing and advising clients in a wide variety of business matters, including mergers and acquisitions, asset sales, financing, and other contracts. She also advises business and non-profit clients on corporate governance issues. Her background working with clients in multiple industries on a broad range of matters informs Ellen’s practical advice to clients weighing the risks and rewards of business decisions. Her speaking engagements have included board training, contract drafting, negotiations, practice skills for attorneys, and other topics. Ellen volunteers as guardian ad litem for minors in contested guardianship cases pending in the Probate Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County. She is a current member of the Advisory Board, and former Board President, of Chicago Volunteer Legal Services Foundation.
